Schiacciatina calabrese is one of the typical cured meats of Calabria. It is produced from the meat of pigs raised in Calabria. The leanest part is used and fat and chili pepper are added to make it spicy. The name comes from its flattened shape.
Ingredients: Pork, salt, flavourings and spices, dextrose, sucrose, sodium nitrite, potassium nitrate, sodium ascorbate.
